"What are people saying?"
"Paul was my accompanist for the Concerto Aria Competition at Appalachian State University, and my experiences with him have only been positive. In terms of professionalism, he was always prepared and punctual for every one of our rehearsals.
Paul does go beyond that, however; he fills the supportive role of a accompanist, both on a personal and performance level, very well. I remember before our performance together, I was shaking from my nerves, and Paul was able to calm me down right away. In our performance, he was incredibly attentive and paid special attention to the unexpected turns, adjusting the music right away to fit. I would highly recommend Paul for any accompanist position; he is supportive as a skilled pianist and accompanist and very pleasant to work with." -Victor Li Concerto Aria Winner |
"Paul has been a fantastic accompanist for me. He is incredibly sensitive to my needs as a vocal performer. Paul went above and beyond my expectations as a student accompanist during his time at Appalachian State University. His playing is beautifully musical. He is the best accompanist I have yet had the pleasure to work with."

"I sang with Paul in Lost in Sound a Cappella Ensemble, which he eventually directed for two years. Paul is an outstanding communicator. He channeled the group's energy into our weaknesses to make our music precise and passionate. As a leader, he has high expectations and an understanding heart. He is a dear friend and a great asset to any program."
